The Kickback Entertainment exists with one purpose: to create spaces where good people can connect through good music, good food, and unforgettable energy. We’re more than an event series — we’re a cultural movement rooted in community, creativity, and authenticity. Every playlist, performance, and experience is intentionally curated to reflect the soul of our people and the stories we live. Our mission is simple: Curate a culture of togetherness and make every moment feel like home.
We're proud to be a grassroots, Black-owned entertainment collective led by two powerhouse visionaries, each bringing their own creative magic, perspective, and passion to the culture. Together, we’re building platforms that celebrate artistry, elevate community experiences, and remind people what it feels like when music, connection, and intention all meet in the same room.
TRELL - ARTIST DIRECTOR & SOUND MASTERMIND
Trell is the heartbeat of our sound. As our Artist Director, he's responsible for hand-selecting the talent and making sure our audio quality is nothing short of excellent. With a master-level innerstanding of tech and production, Trell not only engineers our sound but captures the energy of the night on film. Documenting the memories we'll never forget. His behind-the-scenes brilliance is a major reason The KickBack keeps elevating.
AMMA - DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & CREATIVE QUEEN
We call her a Wombman of MANY Hats for a reason. Amma is our Director of Operations, Social Media Manager, Photographer, and Website Creator. Somehow she still finds time to greet guests at the door with a warm smile. From writing contracts for artists, vendors, and venues to keep our timelines tight and visuals sharp. Amma keeps the entire experience flowing with intention. Her hard work and sacred structure allow the rest of us to show up and shine.
